A RWA is registered under The Socities Registration Act,1860 in Delhi.
Who can be the Auditor of such a RWA?
Is it compulsory for an Auditor to be a Chartered Accountant?

Yes, it must be audited by a CA.

Not being a cooperative society, an RWA run by the funds of its members can elect an auditor from amongst its own members by majority vote through AGM. However, if the RWA is receiving any Government grant, that must appoint a CA as an auditor to audit its accounts.
