Sharing of one house by two brothers

(Querist) 22 May 2015 This query is : Resolved 
MYSELF AND MY YOUNGER BROTHER SHARING OUR MOTHER'S PROPERTY WHICH HAS BEEN REGISTERED WITH SETTLEMENT DEED. GROUND FLOOR IS MINE AND FIRST FLOOR IS MY BROTHER'S. NOW WE ARE NOT IN GOOD TERMS AFTER OUR MOTHER'S DEATH LAST YEAR. SO CAN I SELL MY SHARE OF PROPERTY (GROUND FLOOR) TO A THIRD PERSON? OR CAN GET LOAN BY HYPOTHECATING MY SHARE?
PLEASE ADVICE ME.

If seetlemwnt made thu court u may do so by applying to court
