i JOINED AS A LECTURER IN A GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE IN 2007 IN DELHI UNDER DTTE AFTER BEING SELECTED BY UPSC. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION FOR APPLYING WAS BTEC.BEFORE JOINING I WAS ALSO PURSUING MTECH THROUGH DISTANCE LEARNING. THE SAME WAS NOT MENTIONED WHEN I APPLIED TO UPSC AS I HAD NOT COMPLETED THE COURSE WHEN I APPEARED FOR UPSC INTERVIEW. AT THE TIME OF JOINING COLLEGE THOUGH MY COURSE WAS COMPLETE BUT RESULT WAS AWAITED SO I DIDNOT INFORM THE COLLEGE. nOW I WANT TO AVAIL INCREMENT FOR HIGHER QUALIFICATION BUT MY QUALIFICATION IS NOT THERE IN MY SERVICE RECORDS . WHAT SHOULD I DO?

So far you have stated no problem.

You have not at all stated whether at all you have intimated the deptt regarding enhanced qualification.

Now you can give intimation with the supporting documents and seek the advance increment.

You can include your additional qualification to your service record at any point of time. Based on that you can get your eligible benefits.

First request the department to add your qualification through proper channel and afterwards / simultaneously claim benefits of higher qualification.

The college management is saying that they will initiate action against me if I submit it now for hiding of facts. I had completed the course in 2007. Can you please provide any rule or judgement which I can quote

You need not have any rule or judgment. Just change job showing your real qualification.
