Septic tank on public road

Instead of constructing a septic tank inside their own plot/house as done by other residents in an unauthorised colony; they have constructed it on a public road. Delhi Jal Board are laying water connection pipelines in the colony but instead of breaking down the septic tank and blocking it by filling up earth they have inserted the water pipe through the septic tank. This was brought to the notice of the engineer of the contracting firm entrusted with the job of laying water pipes but he ignored the residents. It is feared that human waste may corrode the PVC water pipes and may seep into the pipes thus contaminating potable drinking water. Please advise.

How a PVC pipe could be corroded?

You please approach Municipal Authorities.

Before that approach the encroacher try to have negotiations.

Write to concerned department higher officials, district administration and if no action move court for a stay and direction.
