Separation from live in relation

(Querist) 21 May 2015 This query is : Resolved
I have been in live in relation for the last 2 years. In this period, we took property in joint name & opened many joint bank accounts as husband and wife.
Now we mutually agreed to part with each other. And I am going to be married soon with someother.
NOW IS IT ADVISABLE OR NECESSARY TO MAKE DIVORCE AGREEMENT OR ANY OTHER AGREEMENT SO THAT MY FUTURE SPOUSE DO NOT DOUBT ME THAT I WAS EARLIER MARRIED TOO. ?
ADV-JEEVAN PATIL, MUMBAI (Expert) 21 May 2015
1)When no marriage contacted, no divorce 2) joint name party can be made on single name mutually.
2) Deed of settlement / MOU is better option
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 21 May 2015
consult a local lawyer and get the settlement deed drafted. get the settlement of properties and transfer these in one name.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 24 May 2015
A settlement deed to settle the jointly owned property in favor of either of the person may be executed and the joint bank accounts may be closed and an agreement mentioning all these incidents may be had in writing with witnesses on both the sides.
The fact of having lived with another person in a relationship should not be suppressed with the would be spouse.

MOU is good option
