Selling my chawl room

Sir I am planning to sell my chawl room in goregaon west area.
what are the things i need to take care while selling for example related documents and the proceeding.
kindly advice as needful.

If you are a tenant you can not sell your room without permission of the landlord. If, however, you hold the room on ownership basis in a co-operative housing society you can sell your room after taking a no-objection letter from the society.
