Salary for the purpose of edli and edli administrative charges

(Querist) 12 October 2015 This query is : Resolved
Sir

Is it possible for the company to restrict EDLI, EDLI and PF administrative charges taking salary as Rs 6500/- or Rs 15000/- as the case may be. If so, is the company eligible for refund of the the excess amounts paid towards EDLI and EDLI administrative charges
or whether the excess paid can be adjusted against the future dues towards those accounts
Kindly advise.

Mr.KURIAN KOSHY K

With the little knowledge possessed, your company has calculated EDLI on the total salary. Before doing this, you should be aware of the EDPF Act, 1952 and EDLI Schele, 1976. You are saying that people with little knowledge express their views casually. If you have more knowledge than the experts, then there is no need to your query on this site. You will not get whatever reply you want from the experts. Experts are at liberty to express their opinions. Experts will not express their opinions which are suitable to your taste.

Sorry Sir if you are hurt. I dint mean your reply which is very casual. You said to represent it to the EPFO which is logical. but how about the other replies. I dint want a reply to suit my taste. But I only wanted an expert professional advice to my query.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 19 October 2015
You cannot demand a reply to your taste. This is forum doing service at free of cost so your attitude with the experts is undesirable. You should better mind your language while passing such remarks on others on whom you dont have any rights to demand reply to your query. You should be satisfied with whatever reply you get, you can look for some other place for a reply appeasing you.
