Rto officals have misplaced the orginal car documents(including noc, owner transfership form etc..)

I want some Help or Query Regarding this matter.
We had purchased Car From Mumbai(Second Hand). We had Received NOC from RTO Mumbai on November. We Submitted all documents in RTO Udupi. We had to Pay Tax According to RTO Karnataka Rules.Paid the Tax and Received the RC book in my name but with MH Registration mark. For Karnataka Registration mark we have to place a request letter to RTO Udupi. They Again sent a NOC Verification Form to Mumbai. and Mumbai RTO Verified and Sent to Udupi RTO. We Placed a Request for change of KA registration mark with letter on march 2015. till date we dint receive the KA registration number. When we Enquired RTO officials Say that the Original car documents is misplaced so Process is getting delayed. its almost Three months they are not even telling any other procedure also. Please help with this

Submit a written representation under proper acknowledgment narrating date wise with name of persons and demand reply by redg. Post only, claiming that no written reply has been sent.You can even add that postage prepaid self addressed envelope is attached.

You may check the outward dak register with daftari and arrange evidence that no reply has been sent to you.

Meet RTO/DTO in person with written letter with acknowledged copy and demand reply.Obtain acknowledgment.

Thereafter you can pursue thru RTI.However demand reply by Redg. Post only.

You can issue legal notice and pull them to DCDRF........and escalate to superiors of RTO also.
