Restore dv appeal

I had filed DV appeal for interim order of maintenance ,but could not get stay . Hence I withdrew the appeal contemplating that the case would be finished at earliest in the lower court .However the opposite party has taken many false adjournments for which I have documentary proofs ,and now since 6 months the case is stalled .I have to pay regularly although wife is well educated .
I want to restore the appeal after 1 yr .Is it possible ?

What are the grounds of the appeal?
Whether your wife is earning?
Ask your lawyer to press the issue before the court with the justified reason to fast process.

No,appeal can't be restored now Make request to court for early disposal of case .

I have pressed several times ,applications were given to expedite for early disposal but the court is reluctant. Wife has a own business ,is well educated ( CA)moreover she is delaying the case by seeking adjournments falsely .
I am paying regularly ,have proofs to prove my case but the case is stalled .
