Relieving letter

Hi,
I worked in a MNC company...due to.my family issues I had to releive immediately. And I explained my situation to my manager and HR. They understood my situation and releived me. But they didn't provide me relieving letter as it was sudden releiving. And now I got offer from another MNC but they are asking my releiving letter.
What should I do...please give me your valuable suggestions.

You have to personally resole this dispute. The legal remedy if explored would not yield desired result in time.

If you separated by resignation than you must be having copy of the resignation, acknowledgment,acceptance.

If you were relieved then you must be having relieving, FnF statement, salary slips, NOC/NDC, Handover of charge,PF a/c slips,Form16,service certificate etc............These suffice to be as good as Relieving Letter.



What else do you want?



Relieving letter signifies that employee has separated from employment and nothing is pending/due.


Get hold of same Managers/HR and get your documents.


Apply your skills.

If you are unable to resolve on your own then you may lean on your employee's/trade union leaders or approach your able counsel specializing in labor-service matters.


When your request of early reliving was accepted you should have obtained all docs then and there and on the spot.



Employee should retain access to employee's/trade union leaders, able counsel specializing in labor-service matters, and be properly informed and supported to handle all situations.

Personally prey the department to provide the letter.
