Dear Experts
Please resolve my foll query
I got married in 2007 in Punjab at a local gurdwara.
During my marriage I was residing in Pune but shifted to Delhi around 5 years ago.
Now as my marriage was done in a Gurdwara I had a marriage certificate issued by the Gurdwara in Punjabi language.
Now as I am a resident of New Delhi I want to get a marriage certificate issued to me by the Govt of NCT.
My query is
1) After 8 years of Marriage can I apply for a marriage certificate.
2) What documents would be needed to complete the registration process in New Delhi.
3) What is the penalty for such a late registration.
Plz guide me.
Regards
Anand

The certificate issued by the Gurudwara is just a supporting document, you can apply for marriage certificate from the place where your marriage was solemnised by producing the Gurudwara certificate.
