Regarding finding registered will copy

Hi,

my grand father has registered one will. . now my mother is expired.

this will somehow not executed yet so if i want a copy of that registered will\will number, how can i get it.

can someone explain me the procedure?

You have to engage an professional person who can apply for getting certified copy of Will.

Do you have a photocopy of Will?
If yes then you can apply for grant of Probate on the basis of xerox copy also.

contact registration clerk to take search in sub registrar office .you must be aware of year of will registration . based on details you can obtain copy of the will

just want to share my experience..

i visited the registrar office..and shown them death certificate and asked how should i get will copy.

they told me that there is some kind of receipt which is given when original will registered. they can give copy to person who has that receipt.

i am legal hair of that property now..but i don't have required documents.

You have to find out the date and no. of registration of the will and can apply for the certified copy of the will.

but i just know year and approx month..

i am not knowing date and registered will no..i that case..how can we find it.

is there any legal process for this?

you can approach the sub registrar in person directly or through/with an advocate( well versed in property/sro matters), and explain the problem,show proof that you are the legal heir/successor of property.am sure there will be a solution to your problem.
