Redeployment

I joined a multi-billion dollar BPO in 2015 and was in-charge of Tamil Nadu region. The deal in which i was working got rolled back and i was moved to redeployment pool. I got placed in a new deal and was continuing with my role. From this deal, i was moved into redeployment pool with the reason 'Excess resource' or 'Buffer Release'. However, another person at my level was appointed in place of me. If an employee is being released with the reason 'Buffer Release', can the company appoint another employee at the same level? Can this be challenged in the court?

It is the internal arrangement and policy of the company.
However, the person working at such level in the hierarchy of the organisation should never depend upon FREE LEGAL SERVICE on this platform.
