Query about pf

(Querist) 15 September 2014 This query is : Resolved
I am Working in a Pvt. Ltd. Company Since 2010. Since 2010 Company was not Deducting PF. But Now It is saying that due to New Notification( in which Limit is Increased from 6500 to 15000) it will deduct PF . My Present Basic Salary IS 13000/-. Total salary is Rs. 26000/-. At the end of Each Month i have to Borrow money from my Friends.
So i want to know that is this mandatory to get deducted PF or i can request to not deduct Pf from my salary?

Thanks
Anshu

Since the establishment is covered it shall have to apply the notification on wage ceiling.

The PF authorities have been advising the employer to not to indulge in practice of

asking employees to state that they do not want coverage.

Everyone that is covered has to subscribe.
The savings in PF are highly beneficial for the member in the long run.
Understand the benefits.
You would be saving for the days when you shall retire and shall need money.

You may visit the nearest PF office and discuss with RPFC as you were not covered at the time of joining the establishment. They can advice you on the way out and also detail the benefits of coverage.

It is a welfare legislation. You need to note that you as a beneficiary will now received additional contribution 12% from employer also which you have not been getting sofar. You also will be eligible for pension under EPF scheme.

You have to abide by the rules and cannot claim excuse on such flimsy or even on substantial grounds. In fact it will be a beneficial movement for you.
