I think expert have mis-appreciated statement of the author, wherein Mr. Mukesh Kumar have a solid idea to quash a complaint case under section 498A IPC desirous to have a format/draft petition u/s 482 Cr PC but not implication of the case as Dr. G Balakrishnan and Mr. NJS Rajkumar has conceived and opined, which I respectfully disagree.

I fully agree with expert Mr. Rajendra K Goyal since we do not provide any format/ proforma/draft/sample on this platform for which Mr. Mukesh Kumar has to obtain from a local senior lawyer.

Question itself is quite ambiguous, as the author states, have a solid idea to quash a 498a case and ALSO have a format or draft copy of 482! How that can be interpreted to be his problem or requirement of what by him?

proof of the pudding is in the eating. Quashing is possible only in a court if it accepts yr arguments.

if one wants to quash under writ u/article 226 r/w 227 to enforce your right if you have enough or sufficient grounds in the high courts concerned then it may be possible - equally problematic 498a might get enforced on you if you are a bad person. take a measured walk.

I could not follow what Dr. Balakrishanan wanted to communicate, could you kindly elaborate instead of confusing.

I hope you are aware about the law applicable and jurisdictional court to get a FIR quashed.
