Only Will is needed , not property papers.

Discuss the real problem, not an academic query.
prince (Querist) 23 November 2014
My question is clear.

Not an academic query.

Advocate is asking for papers of each property.

Your lawyer is the aster of his case. It shall be better to follow his guidelines and apprise only him about the problem being faced by you so that he may find out suitable solution thereto.
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 23 November 2014
Property papers are not needed in probate case unless it is contested by other legal heirs.
You can ask the reasons for it.
prince (Querist) 23 November 2014
My lawyer is saying all the papers are necessary. but Mr.devajyoti barman says papers not required.

secondly We do not have papers of rented property. only rent slip is there.
ABDUL RAZIQUE (Expert) 26 November 2014
Mr Prince
Respected Devajyoti Ji is obviously correct according to your question. all documents have link to each other in property matters but in the matter of probate of WILL only authenticity of will is required.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 27 November 2014
Your lawyer will be the better judge of the real circumstances, you may better follow his advise because your incomplete information will not fetch you proper opinion from experts. You can convince him that you do not possess certain papers, he will suggest you the alternatives.
