My Son is NRI And daughter is married in India. Present property where I stay now was purchased abt 8 yrs back by my son in joint name with unmarried sister. Now daughter is married. They want to give this property to me as Gift. How to proceed.

They have to execute and register a Gift deed in your favour. This will involve payment of appropriate Stamp duty.

Your Son being NRI he should send a POA in favour of a Reliable Person to Execute Documents. The POA Issued by an NRI to be atteseted by Indian Consulates there.Since your daughter is in India She could come in Person.A Settlement Deed would Obviously Suit you and would be Very Less Expensive than Gift Deed Etc.Consult the Concerned Registrar and Senior Document Writers there Or Else an Local Good Senior Advocate.
