your relative should refuse to bow down to pressure . if wife threatens husband then he should record her threats . if situation worsens lodge police complaint against wife

You can file police complaint against her and her relatives. You can also approach court and file compliant if police is not taking any action.

Hi
POlice only takes bribe in our area

He is cousin of my father

my main question is under which legality we can cover this
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 29 July 2014
Your friend will have to sort this out internally. Law can not correct the martial dispute.
sagar jadhav (Querist) 29 July 2014
nor law nor police

seems he is helpless
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate Online (Expert) 29 July 2014
First let him lodge the complaint with the jurisdictional police, no doubt the corrupt police will not take any action on it, but he should not give up, along with a copy of this complaint, he should submit another complaint with the Dist. Superintendent of Police narrating the incidences happened in the police station while lodging the complaint; further to this upon ineffectiveness of police action, along with the copies of all these complaints, he shall file a private complaint with the jurisdictional magistrate court u/s 156(3) cr. p.c giving the reasons for approaching the court and request for the court's direction to instruct the concerned police to initiate appropriate action. There is no remedy to an ineffective action on this except to look for some other measure locally(?)

Amicable solution is better, legal path would destroy his married life and whole money would be spent in litigation. Story of two cats fighting on piece of bread and monkey becomes a judge.

In this case the size of bread is not so big.

If no solution proceed as advised by the expert T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate.

Mutual consent is the best method to reckon with but if it do not work, follow the advice of experts to that extent.
