hello, can any of you help me with a doubt that i am having with this OBC and GEN quota thing. The thing is that i am from a Christian family from Odisha. My family annual income is 160K. So, can i take IBPS exams as an OBC candidate or as an General Candidate? Because many sites are telling that i can take as OBC non creamy layer and some are saying as an general. So can any of you help me with this issue? -_-

Thanks a lot for your reply m'am, appreciate that. And one more thing i wanted to ask that, how an can i get a certificate for this so i could produce the proof at the time of verification after the exams for IBPS in coming months. Can you please guide me or tell me briefly the process. Because i have appeared in IBPS RRB PO and RRB CLERK already.

You apply for the relevant certificate from local Tehsil office. If you appreciate my answers you can give me double likes at two places.

Approach district authority / SDM office to get the certificate issued.

thank you both for your replies. It'is just that in govt. list my surname ie; "Sahu" is there(link is below). so i got confused as i am a christian from Odisha with the the name "S.R.Sahu" and some said i cant get legal proof for this. So, i asked in here. ( http://www.ncbc.nic.in/User_Panel/GazetteResolution.aspx?Value=mPICjsL1aLs9KFQF7Vtb%2fnFssWGD%2fStdwlkOM5kpWfdKSuE3CJbpty8RMy3%2f%2fNxJ ) 'entry no. 162.'

Good attempt on your part to extract solution to your academic query by releasing part of question bit by bit!

Had your problem been real, you could at first have stated your real name, which you have now stated after you asked about the threshold limit of income and the experts have already replied your question.
