Respected Sir,
At the outset, I am very much thankful for the clarification given by Shri Kumar Doab & Shri. Rajendra K. Goyal.
I am herewith furnishing point-wise information to seek more transparency before claiming the Legitimate Gratuity to be receivable for the services rendered under your kind guidelines:
1.There seems to some error:Not understood
2.Working Period:6years-2months.
3.Relation Employer-Employee? - YES
In order to facilitate, kindly find attached scanned copies of documents for your kind perusal and advice. Since the relieving date is 3rd June, 2016, may kindly be advised time frame, if any for submission of " Letter of Gratuity Claim " to my employer directly or by any other means.
Look forward to have your kind help that
helps me invaluable financial help for me at this point of age but also helps others to avail the facility of Gratuity after decades service.

just follow the sections relevant in the indian gratuity act valid as on date and issue a legal notice to your employer. there is limitation on your claim, claim must be in a reasonable time frame. nothing more.

Dear Sirs,
I have been working in a Registered Public Charitable NGO Hospital for the last 6 years - 2 months (Apr.2010 to May, 2016). My age at the time of joining the service was 55 years. I was not offered PF, ESI facilities except allowing leave facility as is offering to other employees of the institution.
Brief activities for ready reference:
The Institute provides training by offering long & short term fellowship programs in all the sub specialities. Also recognised for DNB (Post graduation) & B.Sc. (Optometry) by IGNOU. Short-term SICS & Phaco training sponsored by NPCB, New Delhi. These trainings are also offered against payment of training fee.
Since 2010, the institution has entered into Ophthalmology educational programmes i.e., B.Sc. (HOT) IGNOU, Long-term fellowship training for PG Students and DNB Ophthalmology course (Diplomate of National Board) for PG Students from Jan. 2012. NBE has granted One Primary & One Secondary admission every year against payment of Rs.80,000/- every year during the training period. The Foundation is also offering International Fellowships in Ophthalmology Sub-Specialties against cash payment.
I shall be grateful for clarifying me as to whether I am eligible to claim Gratuity for the period of service rendered i.e. 6 years – 2 months as per Gratuity Act, Andhra Pradesh, India. I had since resigned on 3rd May, 2016 and the NOTICE PERIOD ENDS BY 3/6/2016.
Look forward your helping hand that not only helps me in person to have financial support at this point of age but also pave the way for other employees rendering service for over last more than 1 ½ decades.
