Pay protection to ex-servicemen in fci

(Querist) 16 November 2012 This query is : Resolved
Sir, please confirm if pa protection is there in FCI or not. How and from where can I find out pay protection is there or not for ex-servicemen re-employed in FCI. Queries from FCI is not satisfactory as diffrent staff and offices have varied opinions. I am in a dilema whether to join FCI or not. Secondly, please help regarding my ex-servicemen status. What is the status of ex-servicemen quota during probation period in re-employment. If an ex-servicemen joins an organisation on re-employment and resigns during probation will he loose the ex-servicemen quota for further re-employment in some other organisation? Kindly clarify. I shall be ever grateful to all you experts. Thanks and regards.

Dear Panda,
Why do seek pay protection in your second career? Pay scale in PSU (including FCI) is determined in the same way as for the other government officials i.e., through CPC.
You can avail benefit of ex-serviceman once.

Dear Sir,
The reason for seeking pay protection is that I have already put 23 yrs of service for the mother land and I shall serve in the new organisation only for 15-16 yrs compare to other recruits, there is no age relaxation in retirement age for ex-servicemen as it is same for all and at the time of leaving defence service my basic pay was much more than the basic pay being offered. Once i have put up 23 yrs of service and less period of service is left in me before retirement I must get seniority of service and protection of pay. To be fair enough, I should not get less than what I was drawing in a government job before seeking re-employment. Moreover, some PSUs like banks, and some corporations like LIC are giving pay protection to ex-servicemen as per GOI directives.

Therefore, it is requested confirm if I shall get protection in pay in FCI or not.

Secondly, probation means temporary appointment and during probation the job is not confirmed. It's only after the probation period the job becomes permanent. So, how will the ex-servicemen quota be ceased during probation is not understood.

Kindly reply urgently so that I can take proper decission before spoiling my career by joining FCI.

Thanks and regareds.

Sorry for Indian Law fraternities. My Query has been unanswered so far.If equality for all as an constitutional privilege granted to all then my query must have a answer. What mistake did i commit to join IAF at the age of 19 when I could have options to be more privileged and the whole lot of career prospects lied undiscovered before me. So, now on my half life spent for the cause of motherland and left on solitude, when I try to find solace for life, provide comforts to my dependents, why on earth all hell bent on me. Why don't you up keepers of law and equality strive to find the righteous solution of natural justice for me and acknowledge me your virtuous judgement for the betterment of an underprivileged like me. Answer my query, and be an up-keeper of just and provide me my answer "whether FCI should provide me pay protection or not". Thanks and GOD bless you all.

Seek local legal expert/consultant's advice, this forum is inappropriate to take on your querry.
There is no obligation on the lawyer's fraternity for joining IAF service voluntarily.
Enough is enough, thanks.
