Partition suit against the site purchasers

Respected Experts,

My brother has purchased a site in a private layout in 2013 from land developer.
(land developer purchased the land from agriculturist).

In 2015 the agriculturist's brother has filed partition suit against the his brother, land developer and all the site owners.

After this we approached the land developer for further needful, but he told that, since no cases were pending at the time of selling/Registering of sites
he can't take responsibility for anything including the partition suit.

What should we do further, please advise Sir.

Consult a Local Goood Civil Side Senior Advocate and Issue Notices regarding this to Land Developer for Selling a Property which is in Dispute Now and ask him to refund the amount with interest.You Could also obtain Stay for Promoting his other Lands until your dispute is sorted out.

You should have been more cautious while purchasing the property, should have scrutinized the documents through a local lawyer..

Now engage a local lawyer and defend the case against you.
