A petition is filed with jmfc along with documentary evidence of misusing the power of attorney of a dead person(issuer of pow) and transfering the property.after arguing the case in jmfc court the honable court issued notice to concerned police chowky to submit the report/chargesheet under 156 crpc.But is more than 90 days there is no action or response from police department. please advise why the matter is delayed or is there any time limit to respond to the court for police department. Jfmc court just giving dates for not receiving any report from police. please guide.

There is no time limit fixed in law to complete investigation. You can press through Magistrate on the next date.

this is surprising to know evenafter a crime under 420/463/478 is registered with the court the cops takes their own sweet time to allow the culprits to runaway or threaten the complainant to withdraw the app with jmfc court.If we dont press for this application on every date then is it that court will forget about this application and close it without police report.

Police cannot close without court permission.
you can prey the court for direction to IO to complete investigation at an early date.
