Not paying stipend to intern.

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 24 May 2018 This query is : Resolved
I worked as an intern for a company for a month during December, 2017. It was clearly mentioned in the offer letter that I will be paid a stipend of Rs. 2000/month. Right now, the company is denying me to pay any stipend. What can I do in this case?

You file a civil case of mandatory and perpetual injunction commanding the company that the company where you joined as an intern must pay stipend for your scholarly pursuit as has been promised by them in their offer letter and they should stick to the promise as otherwise petitioner would be put to injury and loss. You can also claim interest and damages(exemplary)

Pls post with your ID and not as AQ and you can get many replies.
Your ID does not mean your email id or phone number and don’t post these also.

While you post with your ID you may clarify you were a student taken as intern in some programme or apprentice under Apprenticeship rules/Act?
What was the work being done by you?
Work that is done by a regular employee and you worked on such work as a regular employee!

I stick to the same opinion as above.
