Sir,

With due respect to all the fellow advisers;

In a Co-operative Housing Society, if a person is made an associate member, after following the due procedure as per the Bye-Laws of CHS, he can represent the flat owner at the AGM, he can cast vote on behalf of the member, he can also stand for election to the Managing Committee, and can be made a member of the Managing Committee.

Good Luck,
Kishor Mehta

Precondition for becoming Committee member is one has to be member of of society despite being owner hence ineligible
