Noc without prior approval

I am in govt service and had applied for another govt service without intimating about it in my current office. I got selected for my coveted job and has been called for interview with NOC letter. What best can be done now ? I want to show my years of experience ahead. I may be rejected an NOC or a technical resignation.

You have applied for another job without informing to / permission from your employer. This may amount to indiscipline.

May request the concerned authority to issue NOC. Authority may give NOC or may start disciplinary proceedings against you, risk is there.

Forget it. You are not eligible for NOC or technical resignation. You may better request the new department to allow you interview without NOC, rather than inviting a charge sheet, which is for sure, if you intimate your department even about your application for another job, what to say of selection & interview.

Legally expert Sh. Rajendra K Goyal is absolutely correct, I fully agree with him, you have acted illegally for which you have made yourself liable to be punished.

Check with the prospective employer if it agrees to entertain without NOC.
