Namaskar eminent lawyers,
I have registered F I R in june 2014 u/s 447/454/380.Since then i have been following investigating officer and SHO about the progress in my case. They have been lingering it on saying that we are investigating matter.
1)Can i send a registered letter to commissoner of police with regard to inactivity of police on my FIR.?
2)if yes, what points should i cover in the letter?

police are over burdened as result investigations take time . you can if you so desire address letter to Commr mention that FIR lodged 4 months back and no action taken by police till date inspite of repeated reminders

Sir why i am more concerned is because police had submitted Final Report in an earlier FIR few years back without even bringing it into my knowledge.

It appears the Police may be in foul play.
If their earlier incident also related with similar offence then better move to high court for police inaction.

Agree with the expert Devajyoti Barman ji.

If the Commissioner does not react then you can move to HC.
