Need to change mother name in Birth Certificate

Hi Friends,

I was born in Hindupur AP. Now my permanent address is Bangalore KA by mistake my mother name entered wrongly in hospital n corporation records so I need to change my mother name in BC please can any one reply me the procedures.

Consult respective Municipality, get the procedure / formality/ documents to be submitted and proceed. If they refuse try to get it done through court orders, which may take years.

You need to file a declaration suit to this effect and after getting court decree the department will change it .Otherwise you can also file writ petition.
