Need advice

(Querist) 24 July 2017 This query is : Resolved
In 2007 my in laws bought a property in Rajasthan. They gave the land to previous owners only for farming ..now the scene is that they have filed a case on us on the behalf of their daughters claiming their share in the land. We have been in this chios from the past 5 years. The case had been put to our favour earlier as the other party did not show up on the hearings but now they have again filed the case. We have all the geniune documents with us....what they say farad and all. Despite being in the right we have no idea why we are put to in this legal matter. As what i think is that it was previous owners' duty to give share to his daughters but he along with his daughters have dragged us in the matter. We want to sell the land but because of stay, couodnot. Any help???

Since a legal case is initiated, no other alternate but to engage some senior lawyer and oppose the claim of other party and hence save your interest.

Sometime, such situation has to be faced for no fault on our behalf.

They are threatining us...the local property seller is helping them. Their are many cases similar to us has happened there. In most cases the new buyer left the land to its fate as no would want to be dragged n deal with such goons. Moreover it is really difficult for a person in delhi to take note of happenings at Surajgarh,Rajasthan. We are fighting this but since the lawyer we hired are from the same place am not sure. We have been cheated multiple times ....i need legal advice as what could be done..or plz suggest me some law books atleast(i can atleast try to understand what my case is exactly)...i want my family's honour safe and all alive...

'Buyer Beware' applies to property deals.
It shall be appropriate to get proper legal opinion from a very able local senior counsel of unshakable repute and integrity specializing in revenue/property/civil matters before signing or making payment.
This may cost some FEE but can defend long term interest and hard earned monies.

Apparently the property dealer/seller and family are hand in glove............

and Minor had share and on attaining majority they are filing cases..............

The cases are dismissed in default and are then again and again to tire the buyers...

Approach a very able local senior counsel of unshakable repute and integrity specializing in revenue/property/civil matters and conclude once for all or strike a deal with seller and close.................

No meaningful suggestion is possible unless all the facts are known. Who sold you the land? Did she/he had absolute title to the property?

Thanks all

Did you ask the question from your lawyer contesting your case for the last 5 years? If not, discuss. S/he is well aware about the facts of the case, able and intelligent enough to advise and proceed.
