Name changes in educational certificates and voter id.

Hi this is Chandrasekar.I need to change my father name to Gopal instead of Gopalakrishnan.In my brother certificates and proof and tall my father name is Gopal. But I am only having this problem. Please suggest to me.

Affirm an affidavit, publish in 2 (English and vernacular) newspapers and get the gazette published and affected documents be got amended by concerned issuing department/ authority.

If your father is having acceptable proof to establish his name as Gopal, you can change it your documents also.

to change the name of your father in your school certificates is as good as changing your name itself. You may change it through government gazette or by an affidavit duly notarized and inform the education authorities about the change.

My father have a both proofs.Gopal in ration card and in voter Id as Gopalakrishnan.I am also have two name proofs,In my educational certificate father name as Gopalakrishnan and in PAN card as Gopal.please suggest....
