Name change

Please help! its very important and urgent....

My cousin name got changed after class 10. but her old name Deep misha came wrongly printed in on of national newspaper i.e Dip Misha. And her new name is Amisha Sharma.Now she is in class 12 nd we want to register her 12 with this new name. This Procedure happened in dec 2013.
First i want to ask that would there be any problem in future as she is having old name in 10th certificate.

Next Thing is ...in future will it be mandatory to submit affidavit along with news paper proof . If yes What can be done to rectify it.
Please help me with this is very urgent as we are having less time for registeration......please

yes name was published in "The Telegraph" (local newspaper) "Times of India"(National one) and "Hindustan" (local language newspaper)

Official gazette is different from the news papers, get is published in official gazette.

Government Publication . it has to be published in official gazette

The publication in the news paper will be merely on payment which has no legal value. The official publication in the government gazette will have its own legal value.
