Movers & packers late delivery

Hello, I sent my household stuff from delhi to kochi on 7th June and was promised to deliver on latest by 20th june.After N number of try I am not getting any response and keep saying coming but it's not.Facing lot of difficulties because of this as my all household items are there.
Kindly advise what should I do in order to get my stuff.

File a consumer complaint case for deficiency of service through a local lawyer.

Wait till the goods are received. Have vigorous follow up with the carrier company.

Have you anything in written / proof regarding tentative date of delivery.

You can file consumer complaint against the transport company. If you have to stay in hotel due to this delay, keep the bills etc.

Thanks both of you for kind advise.
Today I have received my stuff and out of 8 packers 4 were damaged and when I opened the packets my few items were in broken condition and few were missing because cartoon was received in open condition.
Have notified company via email and attached pictures. But no response.
Should I file complain in consumer court or police station.?
Please advise.
