Maternity benefit in it compnay

Dear Makkad Sir,

I have query regarding the maternity benefit in IT organisation.

My wife working in IT organization, she applying for maternity leave & what are the terms & condition for salary obtain during this period.

Maternity benefit during leave period will be based on basic salary or CTC.

How much salary will she got during this period.
Salary is payable on monthly basis or after joining of maternity leave.

Please guide on this.

The Maternity Benefit before pregnancy (6 weeks before expected date of delivery)delivery should be supplied in advance after the pregnant woman employee has informed the pregnancy and provided docs.

The Maternity Benefit after pregnancy delivery (6 weeks)should be supplied within 48 hours of woman employee having informed/supplied proof of having delivered a child.

Many of the IT companies provide maternity Benefit @CTC.
Otherwise apply average daily wage'................

Average daily wage the average of the woman's wages payable to her for the days on which she has worked during the period of 3 calendar months immediately preceding the date from which she absents herself on account of maternity.
