MCD booked property sale purchase

I have purchased builder floor in Rohini sector 11 Delhi in 2012. Seller sold me property without sharing its MCD booking status, it was already listed in MCD records for unauthorized construction. Now I have further sold property n 2015. But new buyer got his registry documents stamped for MCD booking remarks. As I am cheated by my seller but person which buy property from me is chasing me to get it clear and threatening me for fraud 420 etc. I have not earlier served any notice in this regard. Now what is my legal complication. Please advise...

In your agreement with the builder there will be indemnity clause. Check up. If it is there, then send legal notice to him and then file a recovery suit.

you are liable towards the purchaser from you. You should have taken care while purchasing, now have recourse against your seller if selling documents contains such clause.

It is responsibility of purchaser to get satisfied with documents and status of the property.
