If concerned with stamp charges for registration of the agreement, it differ from state to state.

If lawyers charges are concerned, it differ from lawyer to lawyer.

Apparently the query was to ask how much fee can be charged in such situation.

The lawyer must have quoted his fee to you. If you feel that the fee is too high or is unjustified, approach another lawyer who will charge less or something 'reasonable'.
If you want to know about stamp papers or registration charges, approach the Registrar concerned.
