Sir , my father has purchased land in September 2016 of cost Rs-800000 . For it registration fee was of RS-80000 . 0n January 8th my father has cancelled registration of that land. registration was cancelled by two. Parties. Will registration fee will be refund or not sir . I belong to Andhra Pradesh. Please help me sir.

Stamp act has no provision of refunding stamp duty in such case

Re : Cancellation & Refund Policy of a Flat Registration After Agreement & Loan Disbursement You can do a cancellation deed, but it wont benefit you monetarily. Read your agreement regarding cancellation clauses. Mostly the builder will deduct something from the consideration amount. Apart from that the registration and stamp duty paid will have to be refunded from the government. That is easier said than done. So be prepared for a 15-20% loss on the deal. Is that good rather than waiting for another year? You need to weight the pros and cons and proceed accordingly.
