Land purchasing issue

I belong to gen cast of Haryana. Can I purchase the land of sc st people of Rajsthan?
if not , can i take that land on lease for 50 years??

Scheduled Tribes land having restriction to sell . Also different states have different land laws. Consult local lawyer.

Some lands/area will be notified as Scheduled area by the State Government concerned. such lands shall not be sold or purchased to/by other categories.

'Buyer Beware' applies to property deals.
It shall be appropriate to get proper legal opinion from a very able LOCAL senior counsel of unshakable repute and integrity specializing in revenue/property/civil/DRT matters and well versed with LOCAL applicable rules/laws and having successful track record…. and worth his/her salt , before signing or making payment.
This may cost some FEE but can defend long term interest and hard earned monies.

Has the seller provided you with copies of land/assignment/award/inaam etc related docs and have you gone thru the T&C associated/permissions required etc..
A LOCAL counsel can provide you with written legal opinion and defend your interest.

Show the title documents of the land to a local prudent lawyer for better appreciation of facts, analyse, guide and proceed.
Generally there is restriction of sale of such land.
