Dear sir, one lady is threatning my sister and my parents for unneccesarry meaning. she called and saying the my sister is having affair with her husband and they talked on phone, but we asked my sister and she denied everything. there is some other girl but that lady is threatening us from last 2 -3 months. my sister will be getting married in some days and we are worried that the lady can spoil my sisters life. pls help can we do something against tht lady, case filing or something like tht..requested you to advise..

Dear We have done everything, we asked her husband, mother in law many times, they also said tht the lady is not gud and they also fedup with her. my parents also told her many times. but she is still doing the same thing.kindly advise if we can take some legal action coz this thing can spoil my sis life. and my sister has no fault. her husband and mother in law also denied in front of the lady but she is still threthning us..kindly advise

A cause of action for civil or criminal defamation lies. However, it is for the girl and her well wishers ponder whether such a course of action would be counterproductive!
