Sir,
I have a property at Munnekolala (adjacent to Marathahalli) Bangalore i.e. Constructed House in 2004. I am residing in the same house. The area comes under BBMP, Mahadevapura. Area is a revenue zone and does not come under Green belt based on CDP-2015. I am a regular tax payer and holding only B-Khata. I have availed house loan from a premiere bank in 2004 based on B-khata only after they satisfied with development zone in 2004.
Currently, I am planning to improve my house for which I need help from the bank for some financial support. When I approached the bank, they cannot sanction now since I do not have A-Khata and they have instructions to sanction loan to only A-Khata holders only. Though, my salary is adequately eligible for the loan but unable to get for not having A-Khata.
As you are aware, Govt stopped taking betterment charges since year 2000 for revenue pockets and hence no A-khata for us since then. Long awaiting Akrama-Sakrama scheme is also On-hold recently due to HC direction to BDA/BBMP.
At this point, would you kindly advise the way forward on getting a A-Khata for my property please. I think getting A-khata may remain a dream if we depend on Betterment charges or Akrama-Sakrama.

You have wait for the government to release the hold on the proposed regularization of B Katha to A by paying the charges the government would announce, the banks donot entertain loan for B Katha properties.
