Mr. Venu. Thanks for your message.

I am planning to buy a particular plot with house in kochi. I consulted a lawyer formally for helper. He has given a legal report mentioning the Tenure : Jenmom.
Same lawyer, when drafted the sale agreement, mentioned the tenure as : Pandaravaka Pattom. And again, in the sale deed draft mentioned the tenure as : Pandaravaka Otti, Purayidam.

I am a little confused as he is not able to clarify why different terminology is used. He says, there is no issue with title, as these are just old terminology still continued. I am not very convinced.

Please help me to understand whether different terminologies will create and issue to the buyer.

Dear Mr Venu,
Unfortunately I don't have the soft copies.
Would be possible to tell, whether above mentioned terminologies going to cause any issues.

The Encumbrance Certificate indicates, the immediate 2 previous sale deeds on the property can be traced up to past 30 years.

One more point, the property already had one mortgage loan and one housing loan earlier.

The terminologies will not make any difference as to title.

I wished to have copies because of my deep interest in the matter.

Thank you. Let me see if I can arrange scanning from somewhere.
I am a bit apprehensive on the terminologies because, I can't read Malayalam documents :-). I had to entirely depend on a reliable lawyer. The lawyer I approached was a high court lawyer. But I was not very convinced with the explanations he was providing.
