Itp act and government job

(Querist) 20 August 2014 This query is : Resolved
Hi all,

some 3 years ago, me and my fiancee went to some sight seeing. all of a sudden the police came and arrested and had put ITP cases against me. we were taken before the magistrate . After knowing the truth, he released my fiancee and I was taken to jail. I got the bail on the next working day. We are married now. meanwhile, i cleared some entry level government exam and awaiting the appoinment order. will i get the job? what i have to do to check if my case is still pending or finished?

1. This offence of Illegal Trafficking of Person (I.T.P.) will not be proved since you are married to the same girl. Since there is no trial as yet commenced and you are not convicted then this fact should not cause you any worry.

2. If no summons have yet served on you then it can be presumed that the police may have filed a "C' summary report and closed the case. If you have an F.i.R. and the case No. you can inquire about the status from the court's registry. You will need assistance of an advocate who will get such information for you.

Consult a local lawyer and find out the status of the case.

1. what is C-summary report? does it means that my has been closed without anything more?
2. what to mention in attestion form for the government job? They ask whether you are arrested/detained/prosecuted/bound down/convicted/pending cases etc?

Kindly answer sir. it will be of big help for me..

I am not able to agree.

Since a criminal case is pending you are not likely to join even if you have passsed examination.
