Issue of certificate with original/alias name

Dear Sir,
My Mother aged about 83 years old and she is having agriculural land of about 4 acres in a village, which is situated at pudukottai district of tamilnadu. The above land has been come from his mother in the year 1955.
After my mother marriage she has been settled in Chennai for more than 60 years. Actually my mother actual name is Sornambal and the entire documents like - aadhaar card, bank pass book, pension pay order, ration card, are in the name except in Agriculural land patta it is mentioned as Sournathuammal. Now my mother want to sell the above property to the person who is looking after her agricultural land for around 60 daysat a meagre price. The registration department in Keeranur, Pudukottai District is refuse to register the document for want of certificate mentioning that Sornambal alias Sournathuammal are one and the same " to be issued from Chennai Guindy Taulk Office (since except patta of agriculutral land all other documents are in the name of Sornambal.
My Mother is having only Original Patta of Agricultural Land. I have went to the Tahasildar Office and applied petition for issue of the above Certificate. In turn, they have refused to the issue the same. Is their any alternative way to resolve the issue. Kindly guide me in this regard and oblige.

(II think you take a notarized affidavit mentioning the reasons for name change to original name and approach Municipal corporation office and the registrar of Births and deaths and show him this notarizeda affidavit and your mother's agricultural patta, The eMunicipal corporation Registrar would change the ename of your mother to that of her original.name.
Another procedure: you get a notarized affidavit mentioning the reasons for thee change. TRen n publish in two papers one English news paper and another regional language News Paper inviting objections to your original-name.,. within 10 days you don;t receive any objections then go to Government press along with the affidavit, News Papers Advertisement and submit these two/.. they will tell you to go home after submersion. Within 5 to 7 dys your mothers original name will be published in official Gazette because the Govt press people sends your affidavit, news papers and official gazette etc to your house. Hence forth your mother will be called under her original name. Now yeu visit //bank people, /aadhar rcard, /rarition card etc offices and show all the 3 documents including official gazette publication to get your mothr's name changed to her original name.

I completely do agree with expert Ms. Usha Kapoor. Get publication in Govt. Gazette which is regarded as true everywhere.
