Is this chage was correct ?
or any other procedure required for my initial change?..Is any way to change this in mark sheets?

Ask the passport officials about their requirement.

Approach the birth certificate issuing authority and get the mistake rectified. Apply for passport accordingly.

first of all, u can change ur name by gazattee, and if u want to change ur fathers name then ur father needs to apply for that name change separately and make affidavit and issue notice in paper separately
so did u do that ?
u cant change ur fathers name , ur father can

thank you sir,
but my father's documents are already in correct form as" SITRARASU". then how he will change?

You have correctly changed your mispelled name through gazatte. But passport authorities should accept it. Make a written representation to them, if they do not accept, file a writ petition in high court and get an order directing them to accept the change.

Sir... Actually problem is not my name .its my initial due to mis spelling of my father's name . but our all family documents are correct . main problem is my MARK SHEETS ..There is no way to change correction in mark sheets?

Do you have a copy of the publication of the government gazette indicating the change in the name (even if it is spelling mistake, it is considered as name change only), the passport authority cannot reject the gazette publication and ask you to change the name in the birth certificate. No alteration can be made in the register of births and deaths by the Registering authority cannot make any correction/alteration/addition/deletion in the register on its own once an event has been registered except through an order of a court of law. Hence the procedure is to effect the name change through government gazette publication which is valid and legal. You may have an interview with the passport authority officer and explain him with the relevant documents in your possession to evidence your statement in this regard and give a written representation to consider, if they still do not oblige, you may file a writ in the high court against it.
