My aunt in law made my husband the executor of her will but he lives abroad. Can I, residing in India get a probate done of the will, if he gives me permission to do so?

Take a GPA from your husband and get done a probate by residing in India.

Even if you are beneficiary/executor or not, you can get it probated from District Judge, taking SPA from your husband, through a local lawyer.
