The trust has converted the structures into a mosque and madrasa. Madrasa being given a minority certificate by minority development department maharastra but mosque is no where in government records.
Also they are running a unrecognised school in the same.
I want to complaint about them and get things done in legal way.
Please guide me which department is concerned with religious places in private property and which law governs the same.
Please guide

read trust deed.

Is the land given for secular purpose?
Are the objective of trust secular?

Trust deeds says they can propogate islam religion but their is no mention of any particular land in deed. Infact the lease deed of the land says clearly they can not use it for mosque.

Go as per provision of trust deed.

Their is provision on deed about building mosque and preaching islam. But my concern is their is some legal permission and building permission from district collector and municipal corporation. If they want to build mosque they should abide the procedure given by maharashtra government. They are free to preach religion but by following rules and guidelines.

First check that if any waqf if created or not. for this you can check Waqf Register and obtain copy of the register.

If property is not Waqf it can not be religious endowment but It can be a charitable endowment. Such an endowment requires registration with a registrar or religious and charitable trust registrar.

Please take help of a good lawyer and he may suggest so many ways by looking at the documents.
