How to stop drilling borewell

Hi ,
We have a bore well in our agriculture land .but my neighbour wants to drill bore well in his land with 20 mtrs distance way from my bore well ..here I want to know is any guidelines we have to stop this violence.

Why your objection? He can drill bore well in his site. however tell him that how you will suffer if he can drill bore well and amicably settle the issue. if not, then consult local lawyer and issue a legal notice if there is any problem.

Consult local administration / agricultural department regarding local guidelines if any?

If no guideline violated, you can not stop as he is doing so in his field / land.

Your neighbor is having his right to drill a borewell in his own land.
You can make a complaint, if he is drilling a borewell in your land.
Better you have a settlement with him and that legally you cannot stop him.

Your neighbour is well within his right to dug bore well in his land, you have no right to stop him.

Look before you leap.

However, if digging a bore-well is illegal, close your bore well and lodge a complaint u/s 5 of the Environment Act to area SDM or any other local laws for which consult a local lawyer.
