Legally, you cannot get that done. On specific request, the job can be done at your own expense, if you agree to bear. As per prescribed process, after feasibility report by some engineer, an estimate of work, including material and services, will be prepared by the EB to be provided to you for deposit of the estimated amount to EB. Only after deposit of the amount the job may be undertaken as per the feasibility report, may or may not that be as per your exact requirement.

Thanks sir ...if anyone can give objection letter for shifting transformer from lengthwise to widthwise in our site.... because our neighbours send objection letter to EB.....EB ready to give shifting plan and estimation after getting NOC from them...but the objection party ready to give NOC after clarifying their doubts of shifting from EB side ....both are standing firmly in their opinion....what could be done our next step for this matter....

Apparently with reference to the word of "feasibility" as used by the expert, relevance or irrelevance of objection by your neighbor has to be proved for the satisfaction of the authorities at site on the part of both the parties before the work can be taken up by them. I am of the firm opinion that nobody can suggest you anything merely on theoretical basis without seeing the site. So, it is up to you, how you are able to satisfy the authorities without harming the interest of your neibour.

It is between you and your neighbour to settle the issue amicably how to get the job done by the EB to the satisfaction of both the parties. EB cannot also be compelled to work to the disadvantage of your neighbour and to call for any court case by your neighbour on the EB.

Both the neighbours should come to some acceptable solution amicably to help the EB take up the work.

What are your grounds for objection? How is the location of the transformer inconveniencing you? If there is real inconvenience to you and the transformer could be placed in another location with equal felicity, you may represent to the District Magistrate.
Guest (Expert) 21 March 2018
District Magistrate cannot act against the provisions of the Electricity Act and Rules. You may get flak on any representation to the District magistrate. At the most, the DM can forward your representation again to the EB authorities for necessary action. Once your application get routed through the DM, you may better forget to get your job done through the EB.

Anyway, best of luck.

Issue a legal notice to Electricity Board through a local prudent lawyer, followed by a suit for declaration and permanent injunction, if the transformer has been installed in your premises.

Our house site front measurements widthwise 23.5 lengthwise 52 feet...EB people occupy 12. feet...our house is located in a heart of the city...in that area no site is available for sale....they are occupying govt road ... Because of the transformer our house frontage use shrinks into 11.5 feet...it decreases our ground value...
