First get LL.B degree and then think of practicing.

Law cannot be a second profession. 33 is not too old an age to study law.

You have to complete our LLB through regular classes and get yourself registered with Bar Council. Service in any institution is not allowed for an Advocate.

You can practice civil law with power of attorney given by client with permission of court. However, you cannot practice criminal law without being an advocate.

Please concentrate in your present profession. Practicing law is not a bobby. If you really want to practice law, enroll for regular law degree in India or elsewhere, which is recognized in India to practice as a lawyer/attorney

I am obliged with overwhelming replies. Becoming a lawyer is a great opportunity to fight for justice. So I was thinking of it. Though I wanted to remain engineer thinking I am better in that and generally more prolific.
@Raju Yeah Law practice is not a bobby nor is any competitive profession. Generally an average lawyer struggles for better income. So I wanted to continue my engg prof.which is economically better supporting.

You cannot continue in any profession or business once you register yourself in the Bar Council as an advocate (after completing the LL.B.). It cannot be a second profession. Hence, you have forego your present profession and start-up a new life. Ofcourse, if you are so fascinated and if your economical background is strong, you quit the present one, acquire the required qualification first, then register with the Bar council to become a lawyer. I know, this is not an easy task.

You can NOT fulfill your this kind of non serious desire as the statutory body of lawyers do not allow even llbs to practice or get engaged in two professions.

I know one engineer (my client) who after passing BE from India went abroad and passed Master degree in engineering from US and then came to India and fascinated on study of law, joined a reputed law college in Bangalore, passed LL.B then proceeded to England became Barrister at Law and also took Doctorate in Intellectual Property Rights and now practicing in India and abroad as one of leading lawyers in IPR and related side. Hence please stick on to one profession according to your calling.
