It is difficult task now, the file may have been weeded. You may apply for the copy of the judgment in copying department of District court.

Dear Arvind,

Thank you very much for your advise. Do I need to apply for the copy via advocate?

Thanks,
Krishna

It will be better to engage a lawyer and inspect the file after inspection of the file, apply for certified copies.

Apply for the certified copy of the judgement through your lawyer.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 27 July 2014
If you were a party to the proceedings, you can ask the previous advocate (if he is still available)to procure the copy for you, if not you can engage a new advocate to get a copy or as party in person you can apply for a copy of the judgement. If you are not a party to the proceedings, you may have to file a third party affidavit, engage an advocate and get the copies applied through him.
