How ro obtain duplicate copy of court decision

My father got an order in his favour from magistrate of Gurgaon court in 1973. In that court case my father won the case of ownership of land. But the paper of the said order got missed.I have some photocopy of those records which are not clearly visible i.e case no etc.Now i want to get duplicate copy of that court case decision. Can i get the same. What will be the procedure.

Such an old record may not be available at a place where large no. of cases are decided every day. However, you may try.

Dear experts i got the case no. And i have applied for certified true copy of order by applying in Form CD1 Nakal in record room of gurgaon.

There is a year was register in central record room as also court office if one remembers which was court. Go and meet ahalmad of that court . he will try to dig out.Otherwise central record room staff may help you.But you have to keep their interest alive. You know what I mean? Once I successfully found 1970 case file in 2 days thanks to a acquaintance working in record room.Main problem comes to find the serial number of space allocation to file.I am sure you are lucky that records are still intact.

Pawan Kumar since you have now already applied after finding your case number details Give them at least 10-15 days time. If they are not successful you can file request with judge in-charge of record rooms in your district court. He/she will sure help you and get file tracked on priority.
